Privacy

• Your order: your email address, your friend's name, your name if you give one, your note, and which gift you chose.
• Payment status: Gumroad tells us that a sale was paid, the amount and the sale reference. Card details stay with Gumroad and its payment processors; we never see them.
• A referral cookie: if you arrive by scanning or following a link from someone's certificate, we keep that certificate's reference in a first-party cookie for 30 days, so we can tell which gifts bring new friends. It holds nothing about you.
• Previews: when you preview a certificate we draw it from the name and note you typed, with a watermark. We do not keep what you typed unless you go on to place an order.
• Ordinary server logs: like any website, our host keeps request logs (such as your IP address and the pages you asked for) for a short time, to keep the site secure and working. We run no advertising or cross-site tracking.

To take your order, draw the certificate, email you the link, show your friend the gift page, answer support questions, keep our accounts, and see which parts of the site work. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

• Gumroad, which processes payments and sends its own receipt. We pass your email address to its checkout so you do not have to type it twice.
• Resend, which delivers our email.
• Our web host and our database provider, which store the site and its orders.
• Anthropic, which writes a one-line tagline when you make up a custom gift; only the name of the item you typed is sent.

A gift page and its certificate can be opened by anyone who has the link, which is why the link is long and hard to guess. Send it only to the person it is for. Gift pages are asked not to appear in search engines.

Orders are kept for as long as needed to deliver the gift, help you if something goes wrong and meet accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your order details, and to remove a gift page, at any time.
